Four day turnaround helps keep customer's plant running
2nd stage impeller at time of disassembly.
Galled area on 2nd stage impeller; element thrusted toward suction. Diffuser case eye ring seized to impeller wear ring.
Impellers laid out for pre-inspection.
Damaged shroud of 2nd stage impeller.
Impeller has been stress relieved and is being restrained on weld positioner to minimize warpage.
Impeller is pre-heated prior to welding and stress relieved after all welding is completed. The impeller is then dye penetrant inspected for cracking or checking.

Impeller eye rings have been installed and fused to prevent rotation on the fit areas. Impellers are awaiting finish machine operation.
A series impeller is being machined. The red dye allows the machinist to see void areas.
2nd stage impeller is finished machined and ready for element assembly.

Diffuser eye rings have been replaced.
Rotating element is being assembled.
Element is ready for TIR, inspection and balance.
Rotating element is assembled with diffusers and suction head.
Completed element is ready to be wrapped in protective paper, delivered and installed in pump case on site.
